Water : out of nowhere

Necessity is the mother of all inventions. Nothing more relevant and recent as the development of a technology capable of creating water out of thin air. The need the researchers were addressing was to get potable water to the United states' soldiers serving in some isolated deserts of Iraq. Potable water was brought to these places by cargo planes costing around $30 per gallon of water, now with the new technology it is around 30 cents a gallon. The amount of well spent money on research is always cheap.
