iDailyDiary
I found this software "iDailyDiary" very useful. It ended my search for a software version of the diary. The basic version is a freeware with all the basic features enabled and with only certain add-on features like spell check, adding on tags that are missing. The only issue I think with this software is that the files created (one single file for one journal, not date-wise!) are stored with extension ".idd", and I do not think this extension is standardized. Any issue with the main software and all the journal entries might go for a toss.

A snapshot of Vista
This is one photo of Windows Vista I liked...not that such features (3-D windows as in the pic) has some usefulness of substance, but anyways I liked this vista...
Windows Vista is all set to hit the market in January 2007 and Bruce Grain of Wired Magazine is not all that impressed with Vista and calls for prospective customers to wait for a year more before switching to Vista.
For the uninformed, the price range of Vista is $100 to $400 depending on the version one chooses.

Djvu
This is one of the new file formats specially suited to sharing scanned documents over the Internet. It is touted as a better way of storing scanned documents - both colour and black & white - when compared to the more popular PDF format.
I came across this file format when I downloaded an e-book which none of the existing programs in my computer could decipher. I have a professional edition of Adobe Acrobat, I thought, with appropriate plug-ins, it could do the job. But I was wrong.
Djvu software is free to download from here. If you are a person who uses scanner a lot, this is a sure shot way of cutting down on your storage expenditure.
More on Djvu can be found in Wiki.

I started putting up my photos online after knowing about this site from KG's signature in ecexpress forums. I really was impressed with the photo UL software, or plug-in. I have uploaded some of the photos taken with my digital camera. I need to upload some more. I will do that once the SCT (System COmponent Testing --bloody nokia terminology) is done.
