Kerala - a FOSS State

Kerala is slowly moving in the direction of Extremadura (Spain) in becoming the first FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) state in India. The teachers till now were given an option to get trained either in Windows or Linux. From now on, that option will not be there.

In 3 years time, the entire Kerala school system will have only Linux as part of their curriculum. A significant benchmark set by the most literate state of the country.
